Cookie policy.
The short version. We use a small number of cookies to make the site work properly and understand which content helps people. We don't use advertising cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser any time.
What cookies are.
Cookies are small text files that a website places in your browser. They store information — like whether you've visited before, or whether you're logged in to something — so the site can work properly. Most websites use cookies; the question is which ones and what they do.
Cookies we use.
Essential cookies
These keep the site working. Without them, basic features like the newsletter form or page navigation wouldn't function. They can't be disabled without breaking parts of the site.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Squarespace session cookies | Maintain session state, security tokens, basic site functionality | Session |
| Squarespace CSRF token | Protects against cross-site request forgery on form submissions | Session |
Analytics cookies
These help us understand which content is being read, where visitors come from, and how the site is performing. The data is aggregated and doesn't identify you personally.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Squarespace analytics | Tracks page views, time on page, referring source — aggregated for site improvement | Up to 2 years |
Cookies we do not use
- Advertising cookies. We don't run ads on this site and don't use cookies that track you across other websites for retargeting.
- Social media tracking cookies. We don't embed Facebook Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, or similar tracking cookies.
- Third-party data broker cookies. We don't sell, share, or otherwise pass user-level cookie data to advertisers or data brokers.
How to control cookies.
You have a few options:
- In your browser. All major browsers let you block or delete cookies. Look in Settings → Privacy. You can block cookies entirely, block third-party cookies, or delete specific cookies. Note that blocking essential cookies will break parts of the site.
- Private/incognito mode. Browsing in private mode clears cookies when you close the window.
- Do Not Track. If your browser sends a "Do Not Track" signal, we honor it for analytics purposes.
- Browser extensions. Privacy-focused extensions (uBlock Origin, Privacy Badger, etc.) can block cookies on a per-site basis.

Third-party cookies.
Some pages may load content from external services (like Google Fonts for the typography or YouTube for embedded videos). Those services may set their own cookies, which we don't control. Their cookie policies apply when their content loads on our site.
Changes to this policy.
We may update this cookie policy from time to time as the site evolves or as services change. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes.
