Short biography

Sarah Luebker, DO, is a board-certified rheumatologist at White River Health in Arkansas, where she serves as medical director, infusion director, and associate faculty. She completed her immunology and rheumatology fellowship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She writes and speaks on the overlap between autoimmune disease, metabolic health, and environmental exposures.

Longer biography

Dr. Sarah Luebker is a board-certified rheumatologist practising at White River Health in Batesville, Arkansas. She holds board certification in both internal medicine and rheumatology from the American Board of Internal Medicine, and she completed her immunology and rheumatology fellowship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center following an internal medicine residency at the Medical University of South Carolina.

Her published work has focused on systemic sclerosis, lupus, and Sjogren's disease, including contributions to the CONQUER scleroderma registry on gastrointestinal involvement in early disease. She has presented at the American College of Rheumatology, the American College of Physicians, and regional rheumatology societies, and she took first place in the Thieves Market case competition at the Arkansas Rheumatology Association in 2023. Alongside her clinical work she teaches, running an annual rheumatology review series and delivering board review presentations for graduate medical education. In 2025 she presented a three-part grand rounds series on metabolic health, covering the standard American diet, the relationship between metabolic and cognitive health, and endocrine disrupting chemicals. She writes at The Holistic Rheumatologist, which is independent of her clinical practice.
